Ultimate Hair & Beauty began its journey in 1991 as a smaller salon called The Hairshop. Its popularity meant an expansion became inevitable. But rather than opening a second premises, we chose to improve and expand our existing shop. Another floor dedicated to Hair Styling was added, as well as a brand new Beauty Salon, and Ultimate Hair & Beauty was born!
Today, our clients avail of a wide range of excellent services in a modern, comfortable and relaxed environment. You can find us in the GPO Shopping Arcade, just off Henry Street, at the heart of Dublin city’s shopping district. We are renowned for our client-centred, friendly service. Our highly qualified team ensures all our clients leave our salon feeling appreciated and looking great!
Ultimate Hair & Beauty is a proud member of the Irish Hairdressers Federation (IHF) and offers a range of training courses for all levels in our Training Academy. We also have a high-quality Barbershop on site since 2010.

Do not hesitate to visit this salon. I was immediately greeted with smiles and an appointment to speak with a stylist, to my surprise :). A day of travel, a canceled flight, and no hair tools to look my best for my BD, I decided to get a wash and blow dry. No appointment was needed to my delight. The salon is busy but do not let the this turn you away. The highlight of my day was sitting next to a lady who has been going to the salon for over 20 years and listening to her accent and chat with an "old friend" 10/10

David has the loveliest manner. He is kind and chatty, which immediately put me at ease. I usually get my hair done in Skerries, but while I was in town I decided to try layers and a trim.
Everything I read in the reviews was spot on.
David is an excellent listener. He took time to discuss what I wanted, clearly explained his plan before picking up the scissors, and checked in throughout the cut. The result is fantastic. The layers are soft, well-blended, and exceeded my expectations. I’ve never felt more pretty, the cut really suits my face! I absolutely love it.The price was a bit of an ask compared to what I’m used to, but from what I could see it suits their mostly elderly clientele. I would have liked a student cut option. I’ll keep an eye on their website and will be back if they offer a student discount or lower prices in the future.
That said, the quality and experience with David were excellent. I highly recommend him.

Went for a cut and blow dry in the academy part.
Anna looked after me while Lorraine supervised.
Anna was such a lovely girl with a beautiful personality.
I have had many hair cuts over the years and I can vouch that this has been one of the best.
Lorraine is constantly floating around checking that all is OK, and each of the students were bubbly and happy on the floor, and each of their clients thrilled with their new 'hair do's'.
There is a lovely ambience in the place and a great welcome!
